Sneha Kappanna

Sneha Kappanna belongs to a genre of creative minds bridging the nuances of theatre and
dance. Sneha is a celebrated dance choreographer, Bharatanatyam teacher, actor,
storyteller, researcher and folkdance exponent. She is the founder director and choreographer of ‘Bhramari Dance Repertoire’ the acclaimed dance company started in 2002 has completed over 600 shows across the globe. She is executive director of ‘Kappanna Angala’ an intimate auditorium in Bengaluru and the co-founder of ‘Katha corner’ popular storytelling and children’s theatre platform.
Sneha is known for pioneering work in folk dance as she was one of the first woman to
learn several folk dances reserved for men 25 years ago. She is now credited as a revivalist
for researching, documenting, training and performing several dying folk dances of
Karnataka.
