Dr. Brunda Amruthraj

DR. BRUNDA AMRUTHRAJ (M.Phil, Ph.D.) completed her training and doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS). She has had formal training as well as extensive experience in psychological testing, Psychotherapy and behaviour therapy.

in 1991, Dr. Brunda along with her colleagues Tara Chacko and Dr. Sudha Nair set up a partnership firm called Zeitgeist, in Bangalore. Over the last three decades, Zeitgeist has been involved in designing and conducting Training programmes, Psychological consultation, Organizational surveys, Competency mapping and administering Psychological tests and personality profiling, to several organizations in India and abroad.

Dr. Brunda is a consultant to organizations for employee counselling programmes and has referrals looking at assisting employees enhance their potential and provide professional intervention for troubled employees. Since the outbreak of the Pandemic, she has been involved in helping employees cope with emotional, behavioural, family and social issues as well as helping individuals cope with the loss of their loved ones. She has been conducting several webinars both for individuals as well as managers -sensitizing and helping Managers and HR personnel to deal with the challenges faced by employe­es during these challenging times. Over the last six to eight months, her work has been largely in the space of helping employees and organizations to adapt to changes in working styles

Dr. Brunda has been certified by the United Nations (UN) to handle Critical Incident Stress Management. She has also been trained by the UN in Psychosocial Management during the Corona Virus Outbreak. She is an external counsellor to the UN and UNICEF staff in Asia Pacific region.
