LGBT inclusion remains a grey area in the context of Corporate India. Though there are organizations that do great work in this space and have scaled up to become equal opportunity providers, many of them are yet to initiate any form of people practices to encourage talent from this segment.

With this in mind, Interweave in partnership with Colourfull present ‘Chasing the Rainbow’ – an online workshop that talks about Inclusion of the LGBTQ community in the India Inc.

About the Workshop:

Chasing the Rainbow has three parts to it:

  • Understanding Gender:  looks at the reasons behind oppression in the community that stem from gender norms and the way they shape our perceptions.
  • Starting Your Journey: looks at LGBTQ+ inclusion with a view to actively engage and unleash that talent in that segment.
  • Unleashing Potential: explores the conditions for success for any LGBTQ inclusion effort, along with practical things employers can do to make it a reality.

Speakers:

Dee Jas: Is the founder of Colourfull, on the belief that creating an inclusive world requires a fresh approach to creating change, with expertise in diversity and inclusion (with a focus on BAME and LGBTQ inclusion). Prior to this, he has held HR Leadership roles at the BBC, Santander, Net-A-Porter and Girl Effect.
